The Seminar aimed to gather Senior Management in Education from developing countries around the globe as well as experts from the Ministry of Education of Israel on Special & Inclusive Education.
Background:
The millennium SDG’S set by the UN, changed the perception of many social development processes significantly. This means that we all must be involved in solving educational, social, communal, and sustainable challenges facing the inclusive goals of the "Education 2030 for Sustainable Development" agenda.
To a great degree, inclusion in general and Education for Children with Special Needs in particular, become imperative in today’s transformations, especially in pedagogical paradigms and practices. The Educational System needs to identify the principles and practices underpinning an effective process that involves critical-theoretical, reflexive and oriented collaborations.
The seminar aspects were concerned with a real transformation of Inclusive and Special Education to devise national policies aimed to put in practice the complexity of this essential subject. Dealing with issues as an inclusive educational policy to minimize barriers; learning settings for a genuine inclusive environment; the dialogue with parents and the integration of various dimensions for a quality innovative education for all.
Seminar Objectives:
The seminar aimed to inspire the participants in such a way that, upon completion, they will be enabled to choose the methods and tools suitable to planning future activities in their respective countries, towards an innovative process for Inclusive and Education for Children with Special Needs. Thus, the Seminar was an occasion for educational policy leaders jointly come up with recommendations for the way of implementing an educational transformation to a more globally inclusive society.

• Firsthand insights of Israeli’s innovative programs in support of Inclusion and Education for Children with Special Needs.
